Captain Jimmy

Moving to Destin in 1956 with his family, Captain Jimmy couldn't imagine living anywhere else. As a young boy he became fascinated with fishing and spent all of his time on the docks. It became more than just fishing, but his way of life. Now, with more than 50 years of experience, Captain Jimmy still enjoys sharing his passion! Captain Brandy

This 2nd generation Captain fell in love with deep sea fishing at the young age of 11. Tying knots, cutting bait and cleaning boats for deckhands. She landed her first deckhand job at 16 years old and has been working these waters ever since. Sharing her way of life is more than just taking people fishing, Captain Brandy believes that every time her boat leaves the slip it keeps the heart of "the World's Luckiest Fishing Village " alive!

Jake is an Indiana native with wonderful parents; Scott and Melinda; He never could let go of the sunshine and tight-lines that Florida has to offer! After faithfully putting his time in the Army, he realized fishing was his happy place! Thankful for his path, he gives all the credit to the Lord! 4yrs into his career he joined the team here at Emerald Coast Charters and we are blessed to have him!

Brandy Miles and her father are Destin's only father daughter team, which sets this 40' vessel apart from the rest. Fully air-conditioned with restroom aboard. We are licensed to carry up to 6 passengers and specialize in half day (4-8 hrs) trips. Our trips are perfect for families with children, first time fisherman, as well as the experienced angler. Our crew embraces every sea dwelling species ensuring that your family will enjoy a full "5th Day" experience.
